HHUS runs E-puben as a legit student pub and it is the obvious go-to spot for the members of the association, however, all students over 18 with an Umeå Student union identification are more than welcome.

Head of E-puben
Max Davidsson
HLP, 4th semester
The Head of E-Puben is responsible for overseeing all aspects of E-Puben’s operations and leading the E-Puben Committee, acting as the main bridge with the HHUS Board. As the legal permit holder, the role ensures compliance with Swedish laws, including the Alcohol Act, and maintains communication with Umeå Kommun. Duties include strategic planning, financial oversight, and signing operational agreements. The Head of E-Puben also advocates for E-Puben’s value within the association and develops operational plans aligned with organizational goals.

Vice Head of E-puben

The Vice Head of E-Puben oversees internal operations and supports the Head of E-Puben in achieving the committee’s goals. Key responsibilities include scheduling evening managers, managing the point system in line with the Work at E-Puben policy, and ensuring a balanced workload for committee members. The role carries HR responsibilities, focusing on member well-being and sustainable practices across social, economic, and ecological dimensions. Additionally, the Vice Head represents E-Puben in the Vice Club.

Booking Manager

The Booking Manager oversees all reservations at E-Puben, serving as the main contact for internal and external parties organizing events. Responsibilities include maintaining a diverse event schedule, coordinating with HHUS management and external organizations, and filling empty time slots proactively. The role also involves managing event-specific needs—such as catering, music, and activities—in collaboration with committee members. A strong understanding of the HHUS and E-Puben brand is essential to ensure all events align with the venue’s goals and identity.

Food Manager

The Food Manager at E-Puben is responsible for all food-related logistics, including planning, ordering, and managing quantities to ensure events are well-supplied while minimizing waste. The role involves setting menus and pricing in collaboration with the Head of E-Puben and the Economy Manager, balancing profitability with member value. Additionally, the Food Manager ensures full compliance with food safety regulations set by Umeå Kommun, Folkhälsomyndigheten, and other relevant authorities.

Beverage Manager

The Beverage Manager at E-Puben is responsible for planning, ordering, and managing all beverage inventory, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, to meet event demands. This role involves designing the drink menu, ensuring necessary equipment is available, and maintaining legal compliance with “Alkohollagen” and Umeå Kommun regulations. The Beverage Manager also tracks stock levels, conducts regular inventory assessments, and collaborates with the Economy Manager and Controller Group to make cost-effective purchasing decisions based on consumption data.

Interior Designer

The Interior Designer of E-Puben is responsible for ensuring that the venue's interior is always in top condition before opening. This role includes managing the ordering of consumables, such as hygiene and office supplies, with tasks covering planning, ordering, and determining quantities. The Interior Designer is also responsible for maintaining up-to-date routines and ensuring that the lounge at E-Puben is kept tidy. Additionally, they play a crucial role in collaborating with other committee members, providing support and assistance whenever needed

Entertainment Manager

The Entertainment Manager is responsible for managing all music and entertainment at E-Puben events, including booking DJs, curating playlists, and ensuring sound and lighting equipment is fully operational. The role also coordinates with external vendors for specialized technical needs when required. Additionally, the Entertainment Manager oversees the maintenance and supply of games, such as beer pong and card decks, and is tasked with acquiring new games to enhance the overall event experience and atmosphere at E-Puben.

They manage card terminals and checkout systems to ensure smooth operations and act as the primary contact for pub-related financial matters. The role also involves analyzing sales trends to optimize pricing with the Controller Group, negotiating with suppliers, and monitoring the pub’s overall financial health.

E-puben Communicator

As the communicator for E-puben, I promote their events such as EPP:s (efter-plugget-pub), exam parties and nightclubs. My job is to marketing these event troughs the E-pubs social media, such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. I work between the marketing- and pub committee to promote the E-pubs event as good as possible.

Logistics General

The Logistics General is responsible for scheduling all Insparken activities, managing the "eldsjälspass," and coordinating logistics between Insparken and E-Puben. This includes securing venue bookings and ensuring smooth operational planning. As many Insparken events are held at E-Puben, the role requires an understanding of the financial impact these activities have on the venue. The Logistics General also advocates for E-Puben’s financial interests within the General Team.
