Our events
The Education Committee runs high-energy, student-powered activities all year. All of our events are education focus, wether that be to explore current studies or connect them with the future. Our events are here to aid and improve your studies in any way we can! It is you, the student who can really make a change by participating in the events.
From spring surveys with prize lotteries, fall feedback weeks, national case challenges, to our friendly Vasa rivalry. Expect workshops, panels, photos, and easy sign-ups for the next edition.

Finnkampen
Finnkampen is an annual 1–2 day showdown with our friends in Vasa. Alternating hosts, friendly competitions, and a classic sittning.

SM i Ekonomi
Build a team, solve real business and economics cases, and boost your CV with an official certificate. Winners in SM i Ekonomi represent Umeå University at nationals.

Shout it out
Shout it out is one powerful spring day to speak your mind. Share feedback, see it presented to faculty, and from 2025 enter a lottery with great prizes in partnership with Umeå Student Union.

Speak up
Speak up is a multi-day fall push to collect as much student feedback as possible. Each day has a theme. Think workshops, quick polls, and fun ways to make real change together.
