HHUS Investment Group

What is “HHUS Investment Group”?

HHUS Investment Group primary tasks are to promote interest in finance among the students within the association and to actively manage part of HHUS's and the Umeå Student Union's capital. This capital management focuses on three long-term portfolios.

HHUS Investment Group is led by the Investment Manager, alongside other group members. The group’s main investment focus is on fundamental company analysis. Additionally, the group aims to strengthen HHUS's brand within the financial markets and promote interest in finance through finance trips, social events, and company visits.

Being a member of HHUS Investment Group involves significant responsibilities. We actively manage three portfolios, which includes conducting company analyses, tracking the financial performance of our holdings, and pitching new investment ideas. Members are also encouraged to lead or participate in activities that promote financial interest among HHUS members. These activities include projects such as the Finance Trip, stock pitch competitions, and organizing guest lectures.
